Don't waste your time and money

If you are thinking of enrolling for "X-Ray Medical Technician" don't waste your time. It's a medical assisting program with a basic x-ray machine operator license that's only valid in FL. Out of 10 classes 3 are x-ray related and I say related because you won't actually take x-rays. You'll do positioning on antiquated equipment and learn how to draw. Out of the remaining 7 classes, 5 of them are medical assisting with 1 psychology and 1 business. The curriculum is a joke. The teachers...where do I start.You will have many of them, they have a habit of quitting mid class. Despite that some are nice to talk to, they are horrible at teaching. You're better off just buying the books and reading them on you're own. It's extremely overpriced, last I check it was $23000, you can do a full scope radiography program at FCCJ for about 1/3 of that. All in all, 2 very enthusiastic thumbs down. This school is a joke

Sorry to get your hopes up but this school is terrible. I dont know about the massage therapy, esthetician, or pharmacy tech classes, but being a former student of the "xray medical technician" program, I say this place is a waste of money! Do not go to this school if you are wanting to pursue a career in xray, this is a MEDICAL ASSISTANT program and a terrible one at that. The xray part is a BMO of which your license is not valid outside of florida, its only limited scope so dont count on working in a hospital. I wasted $10000 and 6 months in this program, the full cost is $23000. The medical assistant part is a complete joke! In a class of 20 people not one of us enjoyed this school. They hound you about coming to class ONLY because they only get paid for the days you come, and if you have a family emergency, count on your grade being very low because everyday you miss your grade goes down, no matter how well you did on a quiz or exam.
